Introduction

Hello fellow bloggers and lurkers!

So, I'm copying my friend's idea of starting a blog about my horse, Gertie, and the training that I'm doing with her currently. I'm not a professional trainer or anything like that, but I've been riding for a good portion of my 24, almost 25, years of life on this planet, and I've acquired some good and bad experiences that I have learned from. I'll probably make a blog of my newlywed life and such too; a place to vent or share my adventures.
I'm copying/pasting this from FB cause I'm that lazy:

My name is Renee. To cut to the chase, I am Opinionated, bossy, stubborn, very loving and FUN!! Ditzy, clumsy, nerdy.. as well as passionate, caring and all that good stuff. Definately a hopeless romantic. I love hot chocolate any time of the year. I love rainy days, a good book, cuddling and a bunch of girly stuff. I have bigger balls than a lot of guys I've met (not physically since I'm a chick--we'll just say guts?)..am not afraid to get down and dirty doing manual labor..or speaking my mind. I can be arrogant sometimes too, but try to keep that in check as much as possible. I have a huge passion and love for horses, training them and just everything about them. I have an amazing husband that I would move heaven and Earth for. He is the best thing that could have ever happened to my life; he brings me so much love, joy, and happiness. It's amazing of the impact one person can have on you and your life.
About Gertie. She is a 2007 Paint x Appaloosa Varnish Roan Mare

She came into this world by accident. Her mother was kind of a floozy and got into a friend's stud's pen a few times and out popped little turd-head. I received a message on the horse forum I frequent from a different friend (who owns/owned the mare) with pictures of this fuzzy little bundle of joy. She told me the story and offered her to me. I was actually in the market for once and I could not get THAT FACE out of my head! So I ended up driving from Albuquerque, NM to OKC, Oklahoma... and brought back this little black thing I didn't know what to do with.

I wish I would've started this blog earlier.. holy crap there's so much to cover what we've done in the last 3 years. Hahahaha. I guess I can post pictures of a little time-line.

I had all these pictures up and stuff, with some witty comments, but I thought, "This is supposed to be an intro and here I am spilling our life story. Highlight. Delete." So there will be another blog post with all that crap in it. So that's all you get for now :)
